Great place to have dinner. Very friendly service & hotel staff. The best place you can stay in Engalm. Not that romantic as the other huts, but way more quiet - you are not being awaken from house shaking when cows pass by :) We enjoyed sauna a lot after 18km hike. Agree with other guests, some parts are a bit older, but still great value for money. Some breakfast items were not fresh... like juice and vegetables... but bread was great and coffee ok. 5 stars for overall experience

We only ate, so not a review of the hotel. Very cozy interior, but quite a relaxed service, we changed several tables to be noticed and get menus (I guess it’s the end of the tourist season for us). Food came quick, check even quicker. Kassspatzn was perhaps the most delicious I ever ate in this geographical area, very creamy, soft and cheesy, all as expected. Great combo with Almdudler, which is served in 0,5 glass, so be prepared. Funny animals in the restroom area.
