We stayed in a mountain view room that looks straight at the Matterhorn. We watched the sunset and sunrise right from our balcony and bed! Room was modern and bathroom was beautiful. Pool closed at 8pm so unfortunately we couldnt make it. Breakfast was delicious! There was a nice variety of protein like smoked salmon, salamis, eggs, bacon and sausage.
the location of the hotel was pretty decent however there are many flaws: the man at the reception was rude and didn't seem to even care, he explained everything so briefly when we asked he just ignored and continued his sentence. he gave a really bad impression and it was almost as if he didn't even wanted to be there. we asked him many questions but he didn't even think about it and just sent us off to our rooms which goes on to the next point. the next flaw was that the hotel said the room is 50m square and we expected one full room however when we got in there was two seperate key card accessed rooms in the room which does not connect and was dissapointing, one of the rooms also smelt really bad. I slept on the pillow which made it itchy or may be it's the bed sheets but I would reccommemd for sensitive skin visitors to sleep on a layer of tissues on the pillow and wear long pants. also for visitors who wants to love here, here's some tips: they don't provide drinks in the mini bar except tap water bottle so you have to buy your own unless you don't mind. I don't recommend this hotel if you're looking for comfortable ones but if you prefer the view then this hotel is good.
Sorry I have to comment one star only to give heads-up for future guest. I had a pleasant stay until I talked to the man in reception. His attitude is contempt and very rude. Zermatt is pretty and adorable place, you don’t want to ruin the holiday because of this rude man. The staffs in this hotel are friendly and helpful, such a pity this man destroy other staffs’ effort. This hotel cost high, you definitely have other options for having wonderful holiday in Zermatt.
