Alpenhotel Karwendel Adults Only

This wonderful, high quality and relaxing hotel is run by a professional, friendly team who are on a mission to ensure that their guests feel comfortable, welcome and that they enjoy themselves. I enjoyed fantastic food, a beautiful panorama pool (part of a really well designed and beautifully maintained wellness area) and hiking around the magical landscape. The hotel will even loan you trekking poles and a rucksack. I felt welcomed by staff (and other guests) from the moment I checked in to the time I said goodbye to the hotel shuttle driver at Mittenwald station. This was a solo trip for me, but I never felt lonely!

This is the place where you can completely relax. The staff is very friendly and helpful, food is delicious and the location of the hotel is a great start for hiking. The saunas are professional. Did I mention the view? It is amazing. Just have a look on photos.

Great spa with natural lake where you can cool down after sauna. Service is great and very welcome. Tip: Early morning hikes (after 8am as breakfast starts a bit late for the early ones) to Wangalm and for the brave up to the Errinerungshuette with a quite long decent along the puittal. Than relax in the sun and enjoy a good meal to finish the day.
