Attended a Harry Potter Trivia there tonight. It was so much fun. I also had dinner, the food was great. All staff were so friendly and accommodating. Especially Sam and Jolan who did a excellent job hosting the trivia.
Place is run down, rooms need some attention, and air cons don’t work. Last two times work have booked this place I have been swapped rooms several times because of non functioning AC/heat. Today after been moved twice, I was basically told deal with it, so I asked for a refund and since found other accommodation that far exceeds the standard at Alpha. Advised the 3rd party booking agency the business that I work for uses to remove this establishment of the list to choose from. Save your cash and book somewhere else.
Such a shame I can’t give 0 rating 😒 Rooms are so dark, outdated and dirty Awful place !!!Bathrooms are very ordinary, no amenities, chipped basins, dirty floors, Stayed 3 nights in peak winter with no heating.Changed my room and still the Heater wasn’t working at all. Complained and I was given 2 little fan heaters🥸Surprise!!! I worked and not the other. Reception staff not helpful at all except Sarah who was the only one offering assistance. Gym had no sanitizer or cleaning supplies. Drinking station with no cups or water Gym gear had rust and dirt Pool was ok but no towels ever. What a horrible place 🙃If it wasn’t booked through work, I would have checked out before even checking in 😱
