Alphotel Innsbruck

Seen a good few reviews of this place, lots not so good. Happily I found the hotel better than anticipated. Don’t know about the parking tho. Food, breakfast was good and fresh. Seated us away from the bus tours. Rooms; yes a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Nice outside seating area. Staff weee polite and helpful. Location is not ideal but there are excellent transport links and it’s close to shops There are improvement works going on so expect some noise.

Only 2 star service, because they forgot to check fire alarms. Our two rooms had covers on them, exposing us to great danger. Not acceptable, so watch out! They did not take residents safety seriously. Luckily I found out and checked both our rooms. Beds on the hard side, ok continental breakfast. Tesla super charger in the backyard. Very clean.

This hotel is really located in a run-down area of Innsbruck. Although it's only a 10-minute drive to the city center, it doesn’t feel very safe. The rooms are outdated and the shower has barely any water pressure. We had booked this hotel as a stopover, but at 7 a.m. housekeeping decided to enter our room (despite our watchful dog inside). Needless to say, we were immediately awake… so much for a good night's rest. For us, definitely not a place to return to.
