Perfect place for a vacation located in the heart of the city. I loved the room size, very comfortable for 2 people. Breakfast buffet is amazing and staff is very welcoming and freindly. Rooms are clean and well ventilated. Not much to offer for a view since this is located right in the middle of Oberstdorf. Lots of nice restaurants nearby and perfect place for shopping too. Totally recommended and would love to visit again.
Only stayed for one night which I had to book because there was snow on mt hiking trail. Had to take a cold shower in the morning and all they did was apologize. The hairdryer was so filthy I didnt even want to touch it, and they said they had ordered new ones and apologized. Should have offered at least a small discount. The room was fine but there stains on the walls and carpet. Also ate their in the evening, food was kinda decent, but 8 euros for a salat plate is extorniate.
Location is good and the greeting at the reception was fine. Modern building. Nice breakfast buffet (not so many vegan options). Avoid rooms 501-503, they are directly underneath the bar/kitchen and if you want to sleep on the weekend you may be surprised. Owners who did not sleep there that night said the music came from elsewhere. It’s simply too expensive for a sleepless night.
