Alpin Spa Tuxerhof

We have travelled as a family 27 times to the Tuxerhof for our ski and summer/fall vacations. This is the BEST hotel I have ever stayed in. It is family run, personal, with attention to every detail. The spa, Himmelreich, and outdoor rooftop pool are fantastic. The. Restaurant is gourmet.

This is an exceptionally well appointed and run hotel, now in the very capable hands of the fourth generation of the Schneeberger family. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable; the food is of the highest quality (more than one couple - including us! - said they should have a Michelin star); the spa facilities are of an extremely high standard and spotlessly clean; and the team (almost all of whom speak impeccable English) have been very well trained to be friendly and helpful. This was our second stay, and the first time we have spent Christmas there. Since our previous stay, the facilities - which were already extremely good - had been further improved, with a beautiful refurbishment of the indoor swimming pool area. Unsurprisingly the hotel was fully occupied over the holiday period, but the staff coped magnificently - we cannot fault the attention to detail and the many nice touches that made for a really memorable and enjoyable experience.

We had a wonderful time at the Tuxerhof! It had a true family feel to it with wonderful food. What really stood out to us was all the activities the hotel offered, like the daily ski guided tours and yoga sessions. The kids area was great and diverse and staff there was very attentive to the children. The large wellness area is incredible!!
