Excellent value for money

We spent a week here as a family with two children in June. A very beautiful area with many excursion options. The hotel was very large. The rooms were spacious. The food was very good, with something for everyone. Great emphasis is placed on regional cuisine. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The swimming pools were also great. The children still enjoyed splashing around in the evening after dinner. The swimming pond offers tea, water, and beach towels, which we really appreciated. It was a lovely holiday; we would come back anytime. Only one minor criticism is the limited and tight parking spaces. If you have a larger car and are returning in the evening after an excursion, you have to search hard and squeeze into a space. In some places, parking was so tight that it was almost impossible to open the car door due to the lack of space.

We booked 7 nights all inclusive and when we arrived at the hotel they couldn't find us on the check in list. Basically nothing was ready for us we had to wait extra hour to check in, exactly what you need after a long drive. No one explained anything we were just been given the keys and that was it. When we finally got the rooms we had an unpleasant surprise to see that the bathroom was not properly cleaned, no shower gel/shampoo (we had to ask at reception, the only one we received during our stay,thank god we had our own otherwise we had to ask every day ), no mini fridge in the room the sheets looked old and were not in pair. In regards food service , some meals are served as self service for some days we had to chose for the dinner menu. In the morning it was self service but the personel did not pay attention that the food was running out and by the time we were coming for breakfast around 8:30 we had to tell them and wait extra time for the trays to be refilled. Same breakfast every day, the leftovers were served for lunch/snack. 2 evenings out of 7 dinner was served as self service for the rest we had to chose which was ok, we also had the drinks included ( beer,wine and fizzy drinks coke,fanta,sprite- all from the tap). The good point to the chef that the food was really nice. When we had the first meal they assigned a table for us which we had to use for all the meals, a day before we left we have been told they will change the table and they moved us further in the back which was a lack of respect from my point of view, no one explained why! Some services were missing even though when you book the hotel they show like they are included and for some of them like solarium we had to pay even though it is not mentioned in the description. Our group had another guest from a different hotel and we told them he will come for dinner and we will pay for him, we have been told we will be charged 10€/dinner and we said ok we will pay at the end, when we checked out we were charged 35€ instead of 10€ even though we only had him for dinner, and when we asked why they said they did not included the drinks even though he did not had any drinks! The staff from restaurant was nice but they don't know english, and they had their manager (i beleive it was) who knew english but he was rude and not really helpful, and the instructions were only in german everywhere even the dinner menu, and this is not how you welcome your guests and you pretend to be a 4* hotel!
