We have just returned from a week in this fabulous hotel. From checking in to checking out, everything was exceptional. Our room (312) was large, comfortable & kept spotlessly clean by our efficient maid who always greeted us each day with a smile. The dining room was spacious, we had our own allocated table & waiter who looked after our every need, the food was fabulous, with the main menu changing daily, however there were a number of dishes on an alternative menu if needed. Reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful, nothing being too much trouble. The hotel overall is large, airy, modern & very comfortable, the bar area is a recent addition & is a definite plus, with the usual efficient & friendly staff. One last point, the hotel owner visited the hotel daily, (along with his gorgeous dog, Lucy) checking with guests that “everything was good”, we can attest it was!!!! God willing we would love to return.

Outstanding experience! From the moment Dennis picked us up to the seamless and warm check-in, the hotel staff went above and beyond. Every aspect of our stay was exceptional—the delicious food, top-tier spa facilities, an NFL-style ski locker room, and, most importantly, the consistently excellent service. Whether at breakfast, dinner, or the bar, we were always well taken care of. The hotel’s cleanliness and meticulous upkeep further enhanced our stay. We truly enjoyed every moment!

Fantastic Stay – Exceeded Expectations! We’ve just returned from a wonderful stay at this hotel, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Normally, we might be put off by all-inclusive offerings, fearing a lower standard of food and drink, but this couldn’t have been further from the truth. The food was consistently excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality options, and the wine selection—both local and international—was fantastic. The staff throughout the hotel were outstanding—always helpful and attentive, making sure nothing was too much trouble. The ski room was the best we’ve ever seen, and the spa facilities were excellent, never feeling too busy during our mid-to-late January stay. We booked through Crystal, as they always offer great prices, and opted to upgrade to a suite in the new part of the hotel—well worth it for the added comfort. While the lifts are a 10–15 minute walk away, the hotel offers a shuttle service 2–3 times each morning, which made it very convenient. This was our first time in Saalbach, and it was perfect for our level of intermediate skiing, with mainly blue and red runs. There’s plenty of après-ski available, but if you prefer a quieter evening, the hotel’s bar is a great place to relax. We were lucky with plenty of snow, though the warm, sunny weather meant softer conditions from midday onwards. We’d definitely return to Saalbach and wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this hotel again. Highly recommended!
