This was the best place I stayed in vietnam. Little bit on the pricey side but if you can get it on air BnB it is more value for money. The views are extraordinary except the half built building on the other side. Lifts are a bit of a nightmare, can take you 15minutes to catch a ride at peak times only happened to us once or twice which weren’t to bad. At first the reception staff came off as rude but once you get to know them you won’t be disappointed. My main point of contact there was hung and he is a 10/10 guy. Always recommended me place to go and avoid. I left early last day and he wasn’t there for me to tip. Place is cleaned daily with fresh towel. Pool was nice and clean with a good view of the beech. Gym was nicely equipped. Your apartment may not include gym and pool and will cost extra. Be sure to ask when booking. It’s literally opposite the beach which is amazing for beach bums like my family.
We had a wonderful memories in Altara. Workers cleaned up so well and room condition was good too. Especially, breakfast was great! I was happy to meet a manager who was preparing a cup of coffee for our family everyday. She was smiling and nice all the time. :)
Beautiful view room except the ugly view of the half built building across the road. There are a few minor issues with the room. The elevator takes forever to access due to the large number of residents and limited 3 elevators for the entire building. There's a very stinky smell on the first floor while you're waiting for the slow elevator. The pool only opens to 7 pm, thus limited access. The front desk folks are not friendly at all.
