Alteza Polanco

The place is very well located. The zone of Polanco is one of the safest zones in the city. The hotel is just one block from Plaza Comercial Polanco, a commercial plaza. The woman at the reception desk is such a kind woman. The staff is kind and attentive in anything. The rooms are comfortable, super clean, and well-maintained. I would also want to say that the rooms are not that big, which not a big deal is for me. The restaurant is on the top floor of the hotel. It looks amazing, so modern and the food tastes great! Somewhat expensive though. Just as I said, the location of the hotel is one of the best. Nonetheless, do not expect to have that much “Mexican environment” in the streets, such as restaurants, street vendors, coffee shops, etc. It's kind expensive though. We paid like $3,500.00 MXN just for one night.

For the price, I expect a more comfortable bed with nicer sheets. The rooms are also poorly layed out and furnished, eg if you try to lean against the headboard while watching tv, the bed slides away from the wall. Very friendly front desk though. Location is super close to where you have to go for Canada visa biometrics, otherwise wouldn’t be my first pick.

The front desk service when we arrived at night was terrible. The staff’s attitude was extremely rude—even when charging us, it felt like they were doing us a favor. We won’t be coming back. The only good thing about this place is its convenient location for the appointment we had.
