Location wonderful.. the staff really kind and very professional! Everything was perfect Thanks to Maria for her kindness and professionalism A very special holiday!!
This is a wonderfully designed hotel on the edge of the charming old town. It has great views of the old town and of the coast. The rooms have clean modern lines and are stylish but not fussy. Amenities are very good (linen, shower fittings, hot water etc) and breakfasts are excellent, served on a delightful balcony with views over the old town. Konstantina is a charming host - helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel is an excellent base from which to explore this lovely island and our week's stay was a wonderfully relaxing break from the hurly burly of life back in the UK. We just wished we could have stayed longer. This was our second stay and we will be back for a third, God willing.
We contacted the hotel directly to book a room (Point of View Suite), and were offered a price of €920, breakfast included. However, the same room was publicly listed on their own website for €882 — also including breakfast and taxes. When we politely pointed out the discrepancy, we were told it was due to a currency conversion issue — even though the price on the website was clearly shown in euros. Shortly after, the website price for that specific room was quietly changed to €955, clearly in an attempt to make the direct offer look more favorable. We found this approach misleading and disappointing. No acknowledgment, no gesture toward loyal returning guests — just evasive replies and a dismissive tone. It’s a shame, because we previously had a good experience at this hotel. But true hospitality is built on trust and transparency, not on technicalities and reactive adjustments. Following my feedback, the hotel’s response claims that my review is "not based on true events." I find this denial very disappointing. For full transparency: I have saved copies of all the emails exchanged, including screenshots of the price as it appeared on the hotel’s website at the time of our correspondence. I am prepared to share these, should there be any doubt. I believe in fair, honest communication — and I had hoped for a more respectful and open response, not an attempt to publicly discredit a guest who simply pointed out a documented inconsistency. This experience only reinforces the concern I expressed: that transparency and guest relations are not being handled with the care one would expect from a boutique hotel.
