Altinel Ankara

I stayed in this hotel for 11 nights while on a work trip. The rooms are very spacious and spotless- there are also a wide range of English-language channels. Breakfast is also good, with many different hot and cold options. Most importantly, when I spoke with management about the AC, they fixed it promptly and very politely. The cleaning staff, technicians, and breakfast staff are all so kind. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed in this hotel with my family for 1 night on our way from Istanbul to Cappadocia. Didn’t expect much as it was just a layover on a long trip. The rooms and the hotel itself has certainly seen better days and cleanliness is acceptable but leaves more to be desired. They have a rule where you aren’t allowed to bring any outside food or drinks in and will stop you at the entrance if they see anything of the sort. I had to ask my family to come down from their rooms and we walked back to the restaurant in the rain. The restaurant gave immaculate service and I’ll definitely give them a plug here. But don’t expect much from this “5-star” hotel. Ciğerci Aydın is the restaurant and it’s only a 5 minute walk. Great food and amazing service. Edit : I forgot to mention but I used the restroom in the lobby and it had a horrendous smell. I also asked for a non-smoking room and yet it reeked like an ashtray. They clearly just sprayed some Febreeze and hoped that would hide the smell.

Cleaning personnel are thiefs, they stole many things from me and my friends. Laundry service ruined my clothes. 0/10, I don’t recommend
