Altis Avenida Hotel

We had a fantastic stay at the Altis Avenida Hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were delighted to find out we’d been upgraded — such a wonderful surprise to start our trip. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay, making everything feel seamless and special. Our room included some lovely complimentary touches like coffee, water, and even sparkling wine, which made us feel very welcomed. The breakfast deal is definitely worth it — the selection and quality were excellent and set us up perfectly for the day. One of the absolute highlights was the rooftop bar area. It’s a stunning spot to relax in the evening with a drink or meal, offering beautiful views over the city. A special shout out to Jose at the rooftop bar — his service and friendly manner truly stood out and added to the overall experience. I will add that the hotel had the best shower in the world!! Highly recommended — we’ll definitely return!

Absolutely fantastic hotel in every sense. Beautiful facilities, very comfortable rooms, epic view rooftop restaurant, but most of all, incredibly kind and customer centric staff. They took care of us unlike any other hotel in a very long time, anticipating our needs and ensuring out stay is memorable and comfortable. And the location! In the heart of old Lisbon, with walking distance to all attractions and sights. Every recommendation. This is what I consider a 5-star experience!

A delightful surprise often awaits guests returning to their rooms, such as the thoughtful provision of traditional Pastéis de Nata, adding a charming local touch to the stay. A major highlight, and one strongly recommended for inclusion with any reservation, is the breakfast experience. The selection is not only delicious and fresh but also boasts a wide variety of options. The breakfast team is remarkably attentive and amiable, skillfully preparing personalized orders such as omelets, fried eggs, and cappuccinos to perfection. The restaurant and bar staff also contribute significantly to the positive experience with their polite and efficient service. Guests receive a welcome voucher for a drink at the Rossio bar, located on the hotel's rooftop. This spot offers a very pleasant ambiance and captivating views, perfect for unwinding. The guest relations service consistently demonstrates a high level of attentiveness, and the availability of refreshing flavored water and a special Portuguese sparkling wine at the reception bar further elevates the overall guest experience.
