Altitude on Montville

The double room was great - spacious, clean and modern. Particularly the walk in shower and the spa. Comfy bed. Only downsides were that the room was quite dark, so difficult to get ready in, and the reception service was not very friendly or helpful. I also think they should have more of a connection with Montvale when you have wedding guests stay there to make it easier for them, such as earlier check in times.

This place used to be nice but it has been neglected over the years and is now a grubby, uncomfortable dump. We had a two bed ‘superior room with ocean views’ - we could barely see anything as the shutter on the verandah was broken so we couldn’t actually open it fully. There were stains on the bedding, the aircon is non existent so very stuffy at night which made sleeping difficult, along with the cheap pillows. The room was not clean, a ton of dust under the sofa, dust and dirt in all the corners. The windows looked like that hadn't been cleaned in years. No staff to help or assist in any way. It’s not really a hotel, it is a bunch of privately owned rooms that are rented out to desperate people. Overpriced and grotty. Avoid at all costs.
