Altstadt Ferienhaus

What a wonderful find this cottage was!! 3 bedrooms, beautiful olde world with beams, very comfortable and well equipped, added bonus of secure private parking which is difficult to come by in Wernigerode!! The beds are very comfortable with plenty of space in the rooms to hang clothes. Fully equipped kitchen with oven, dishwasher, hob. Small bathroom with shower cubicle and family bathroom with large bath and over bath shower. Underfloor heating in some rooms or individually controlled radiators. Comfy sofa / chairs with large TV on the wall, WiFi, large dining table and chairs. The only downside is the steep stairs (which have some carpet on them to help with grip) and that both bathrooms are downstairs, there is no toilet facility upstairs. The cottage is situated very close to the main shopping centre (only a 5 min walk) with its big choice is shops, cafes and restaurants. The courtyard would be a great place to sit in the summer months! Highly recommended.

Das Altstadt-Ferienhaus Wernigerode ist eine tolle Unterkunft im Stadtzentrum. Das Haus ist schön eingerichtet, sehr sauber und man findet alles, was man braucht. Dank Innenhof waren auch die Motorräder sicher untergebracht. Bäcker und Supermarkt sind in der Nähe ebenso wie Restaurants. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern bzw. ihrem Vertreter war nett und wir kommen gern wieder.

Five of us rented the property for a week. Biggest problem for the two oldies. (me and my husband) is that both toilets are downstairs and all bedrooms up steep stair case. Apart from that house comfortable and enough room for five of us. Bedrooms large enough. There is one room on its own and the other two behind a solid wood door . You have to go through first bedroom to get too second room.
