Altınorfoz Hotel

Spent 4 days and 4 nights at Altın Orfoz. Loved the surroundings and the outer space of the hotel. Enjoyed the facilities and their service. What we mostly enjoyed was the sea, incredibly clean and warm. The hotel rooms were clean and the air conditioning worked perfectly, but the rooms were a little old and in need of renovation.

The only positive aspect of this hotel is its location and the proximity to the sea, which is perfect for snorkeling. Unfortunately, this alone was not enough to make up for the numerous problems we encountered. The overall communication from the staff was dismissive and lacked the professionalism one would expect. The tone used in our interactions felt condescending and gave the impression that our concerns were not taken seriously Despite specifically inquiring about the quality of the internet prior to booking, I missed more than half of an important meeting because of persistent connection issues. When I raised this concern, the response I received was not only unhelpful but also unprofessional, as it implied that I was not being truthful. This accusation was both surprising and unacceptable. Additionally, the two rooms we booked did not have balconies, despite this being clearly advertised on the hotel's website.. To make matters worse, the food was poor in quality, and the service was not up to standard. This, coupled with a cockroach near the entrance of our room, was the final straw in what was already a very disappointing stay. This experience has left me seriously questioning the hotel’s commitment to guest satisfaction.

We couldn’t stay as they were full so we used their restaurant with our guests. 80% of the food was prepared by canned/frozen vegetables and the head chef was okay to confirm that information. It was absolutely the worst food I had in my Turkey trip. The service, taste, dirt on the tables… I still cannot get over how they can charge 250tl per person for such poor quality.
