Alua Illa de Menorca

We had an excellent stay at Alua Illa de Menorca. The hotel is well located in a quiet area, just a short walk from the beach. The rooms are modern, clean, and well equipped. The staff is very friendly and always available. The breakfast buffet is varied and of good quality, with options for all tastes. Special mention to the pools and evening entertainment — perfect for relaxing without leaving the hotel. I highly recommend it for a pleasant stay in Menorca!

Lovely hotel. We are coming back from 5 nights here and had the best time, fantastic hotel, great pool and amazing, friendly staff. Peaceful, quiet area only a few minute walk to the seafront. Really good entertainment at night and very involved entertainers who were brilliant. Would highly recommend for someone looking for a peaceful, relaxing holiday. We would 100% return.

The hotel is nice and bright and very clean. The pool areas are also very clean and excellent for families. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was appalling. If you are there for basic English food it’s there but it’s always cold. Breakfast, mushrooms, bacon , sausage, hash browns, baked beans, all cold everyday. How hard is it just to check that the food is still hot. The only thing that was hot where the eggs cooked in front of you but the plates are cold so what’s the point . Lunch, not many people want it at lunchtime but on two or three occasions they had cooked meat and then a selection of 5/6 different vegetables. For the evening meal they would have a poor selection of cooked meat but over two weeks that we were there the selection of vegetables in the evening was either mostly non or sometimes 1 or 2 dishes. Many people could be heard complaining about the food but nobody seemed to be interested. I watched a number of people complain to a lady member of the management in the restaurant and you could tell that she really didn’t seem to care. I didn’t have one nice hot meal during our whole two weeks. Twice for my evening meal I ended up with a piece of French Stick filled with cheese and onion. It’s not as if you can go out for a meal because there is nowhere to go. Do not go to this hotel expecting good food because you will not get it.
