AluaSun Costa Park

Great place, great service . Staff was very nice and hospitable. They went out their way to help us. We enjoyed everything. Food was ample and everyone was welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay . The room was clean, airy and really spacious. Children enjoyed the daily shows which was an excellent way to connect to overall holiday spirits. I will really like to say they gave great service for people/kids with special needs which was admirable. Overall very nice atmosphere ,staff and hotel.

Really good value family hotel. Room was clean and well presented, good bathroom. Fantastic breakfast, dinner was fine with plenty to eat but nothing special. Restaurant staff friendly and very hard working (as were all the staff actually). Free shuttle bus to town good but for us a little bit of a downside that we were not a stroll to town. We did walk it but in the heat not so pleasant. Not keen on the pool set up. Large pool with fantastic splash pool next to it and small kiddies pool alongside. Entertainment poolside. Smaller quieter pool also taken over by children jumping in and using inflatable toys. Even as a family hotel I just thought the guests without children might have been given some thought regarding having the chance to cool off and relax without having children jumping in beside you. That’s my only negative to an otherwise great stay at the Aluasun Costa Park.

Food was not great, very basic, not many options. Actually, the food is terrible, just went another round at the buffe, 4:th day here and i’m always disappointed, for example; Paella with only rice in it. A older staff in the only open restaurant was actually very rude at dinner today when we tried to take our own forks because there was no prepared table. Dinner area usually always chaotic, no lines and really messy around the food and drinks, not the best breakfast, it’s just not appetizing, long lines for the a la carte, 20 minutes standing in line and waiting just to get in to the restaurant, 10-15 minutes in line to get a fresh egg and pancake at the a la carte, crazy. Room was clean and very friendly cleaners. Old rooms that were fixed up, not new but it works. Reception staff were excellent. The show artists and the show is awesome! Pool area was always full, not many chairs available, extremely many people in the pool. Does not feel like a 4 star hotel, more like a 3 star hotel, at the most. Elevators are so old and are jumping so much at every stop, kids were very scared of this, and we took the long stairs everytime. Kids had fun, but there are better hotels for this money, won’t come back.
