Hello, We stayed at Amadi Beach Front Resort for just one night, but we truly feel we should have spent all three nights of our Goa trip here. It’s an amazing place. The cottages are very clean and well-maintained, and the location is simply perfect — the resort is located right on the beach. The staff and service were excellent. It felt like we had our own private beach! The food was also delicious and hygienic. Overall, it’s a wonderful resort at an affordable price.
We stayed at this resort for three nights, paying Rs 6,500 per night. We chose it primarily because of its beachfront location, however to our disappointment, the beach was littered with garbage and carried an unpleasant stench, making it nearly impossible to take a walk there,we managed only once during our entire stay. The rooms themselves were musty, and despite repeated requests, the staff could not resolve the issue throughout our visit. Breakfast was mediocre and fell short of expectations. For the tariff charged, Rs 6,500 felt excessive, a fair value would be closer to Rs 4,000. The only redeeming factor was the courteous and genuinely helpful staff.
Although location is good, rooms are a bit ok, staff is very hostile, especially the restaurant owner or people at the resort. The resort people say, restaurant has been outsourced, althogh it seems restaurant runs the resort, since restaurant staff is very rude and threatened us to evict at night, without any refund. They will resort to unscrupulous means to extract more money out of you. Be careful the staff may gang up. I am sure the place will have cctv footage... Since you replied - your night manager said we have outsourced the restaurant. There were no other guests there at that time. Even other staff like the waiters and all were apologetic about asking us to not have drinks there. The manager or the incharge of the restaurant was very hostile, he threatened us with eviction, told us we will confisticate any advance given to hotel!! He was extremely rude towards my wife and me. You morning manager, infact due to this incident, offered his apologies, he did say that proper signage should have been there, to avoid this. I think you should review the cctv footage, and improve your policies by posting adequate signage, placing dos and donts in spaces you want. Train your staff to be polite!!
