What a truly wonderful experience we have had in this unique place. From the spotless, welcoming rooms that invite deep rest, to the delicious food always served with a smile and the warm attention of a team that makes you feel at home. The manager, always present and willing, turns every detail of the stay into a gift for the senses. The Ayurvedic treatments, full of care and tradition, together with the impeccable cleanliness of the spa, make this haven one of the very best in the area. This is my second year here… and I know it will not be the last. Thank you, from the heart, for making every moment a true delight for the body, mind, and soul.

I recently stayed at Amara Ayurveda Retreat in Kovalam, and it was peaceful and refreshing experiences .From the moment I arrived, I felt a deep sense of calm. The entire place is surrounded by greenery, and there’s a natural, soothing energy that makes you feel at ease. My room was spacious, clean, and beautifully done with earthy tones and minimalistic design. It had all the basic comforts—air conditioning, a comfortable bed, a clean bathroom, and a lovely balcony that opened to a view full of trees and birdsong. I really enjoyed sitting outside in the mornings with a cup of tea, just soaking in the quiet. The retreat has a very natural vibe. The saltwater pool, the open spaces, and the soft sounds of nature all added to the peaceful atmosphere. It felt like I had stepped away from the noise and rush of daily life. Overall, Amara gave me the space and energy to truly slow down and reconnect with myself. The positive vibe, the natural setting, and the simple comforts made it a perfect solo getaway. I left feeling refreshed, lighter, and more grounded.

One of the best resort I have been in recent times. Very organised and clean property. Not so far from Kovalam main road. Looks like a remote area without public transport. But Uber is easily available. Rooms are big, air conditioned and has huge glass windows. I loved the view from my room as well as from the balcony. Long distance views of western ghats and trivandrum city is possible if one go to the roof top area. They claims that their swimming pool has rock salt in it. Unfortunately I didn't try it. The food is okay. The rooms could have been bit more sound proofed. They have own ayurvedic massage and yoga centre.
