Great Stay at Amari Koh Samui! Really enjoyed my time at this lovely resort. It’s in a very convenient location easy to get to and close to everything. The breakfast was excellent with a good variety of options to start the day right. I also had dinner at Prego, a fantastic Italian restaurant just nearby highly recommend it! Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
Fantastic hotel on the edge of a great resort. The hotel is simply fantastic - staff, rooms and food but best of all the pools are first class. The views out to sea from the main pool are simply paradise! We booked a pool view room and got one at the top pool. It was really great and did everything we needed it to do. Lots and lots of restaurants in Chaweng and shops with cheap clothes/shoes to buy: We would def go back. Absolutely recommend doing the elephants and Zipline.
I’m genuinely surprised by the recent negative reviews, as our stay was nothing short of perfect. In total we stayed for 3 nights in the Deluxe Pool View for our honeymoon and birthday. Initially, I had some trouble booking but the staff were extremely helpful and quick to respond via email. From the first moment we checked in, staff were attentive and helpful. When booking, I checked the resort map and intentionally chose the Thai village wing due to the view and villa style. I was aware that 2 of the wings are across the road, which I did not mind at all. Many guests seem to be annoyed at the fact that you have to cross the street to access reception, breakfast and the beach. This was not a problem for us at all, as we found our wing to be quieter and the pool was generally empty compared to the beach wing pool (which had more kids and busier). There is a scuba dive centre where lessons are held in the pool if you are interested. There was always a staff member assisting with traffic to ensure everyone crossed safely at all hours of the day and night. Our room was perfect, spacious with a balcony view. Breakfast was good with many vegetarian, halal, western and Asian options. They will also make your coffee or drink option per order! Regarding location, it was perfectly convenient. Close enough (10 min walk) to the main area of Chaweng, but not too close to the rowdier bars and restaurants. Down by the public beach there is an excellent massage/spa place so everything really is within reach. I will definitely come back and stay here again!
