Amari Spice Penang

I booked Amari Spice Penang just for one night — it’s close to the airport, and I didn’t expect anything extraordinary. But from the moment I walked in, I realized this place was on a different level. The room? Deluxe, but felt like a suite in a 5-star Dubai hotel. Huge panoramic windows, soft lighting that actually felt thoughtful, and the view of planes taking off — strangely calming and inspiring. The bed was super comfortable, the aircon quiet and efficient, and everything was absolutely spotless. I decided to try breakfast — and wow. A mix of Malaysian, Chinese, and Western options, all fresh, colorful, and surprisingly high-end for an airport hotel. What really impressed me was the whole atmosphere. A gym with brand-new equipment, a beautiful outdoor pool, working areas with high ceilings and great coffee, and a team that genuinely cares. Everyone speaks English, and every request was handled quickly. Honestly, I live in Dubai, and for this level of service and comfort, I’d expect to pay three or four times more. This felt like a hidden gem. I checked in expecting convenience. I checked out feeling recharged. Highly recommended.

Our company and our clients stay in Amari many times. Our clients commented the hotel is really good. The hotel is big and classy. Room size is considered big, with double sided wardrobes for hanging clothes. Service is excellent, staff is very very understanding and helpful. The highlight here is the excellent staff service. Prices are reasonable (esp at company price). The laundry rates are reasonable as well. Hope the hotel takes good care of staff and ensure they are well taken care of, to ensure their continuous amazing service to clients.

I had an amazing stay at Amari SPICE Hotel Penang! From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was top-notch. The staff were incredibly polite, warm, and courteous, making me feel truly welcomed. I was pleasantly surprised when they offered me an early check-in at 2 pm (an hour earlier than standard), and to top it off — they upgraded my room! The attention to detail and thoughtfulness made all the difference. Truly a 5-star experience — I can’t wait to come back! Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, service, and a touch of luxury.
