Amari Vientiane Laos

We stayed 4 nights Room and hotel are very nice, new and clean The staff is polite Pool and gym are very nice (a bit small) Breakfast with many options, we are vegetarian and the kitchen made us special dishes daily Only down side was that we were with children and there was no activity/ kids club for them. But we will definitely come back!

Hotel with some of the best views of the Mekong River in Vientiane. Nice rooms, good pool area and gym. Rooftop bar and dining area overlooking the river. Breakfast buffet was satisfying. Good venue for meetings and a variety of event space options. Conclusion - excellent choice for a stay or event in Vientiane. Prime location.

Recommend this quality new and modern hotel located overlooking the Mekong river and right next to the famous night market and near the amusement park by the river. Suitable for meetings and events with a variety of meeting rooms. On-site restaurant has all-day dining with delicious dishes. Breakfast buffet has good choice of dishes, all cooked well and tasty. The spa has not operated yet and will soon launch. Reception staff were professional, helpful and very kind. Service lost 2 stars because room cleaning was lacking. They didn't clean our room on the first day, and the second day only changed towels and rearranged sheets but forgot to empty bins. They also take a long time to get around servicing the room. The staff only managed to get to my room late afternoon/early evenings. I arrived at hotel after 8 p.m. but my room was unavailable and not been cleaned, but they did make up for it with a room upgrade, which I am grateful for. Bathroom design needs some attention. They need to seal around the shower door to prevent water overflowing out into the bathroom floor and into adjacent toilet room which you can see in one of my videos. Also, one of the room doors could not be closed due to a faulty door stop, as shown in one of my videos. Otherwise, the room was modern and comfortable. The pool and bar were relaxing. The gym was small but had enough weights and equipment to keep guests fit. Would return next time I visit Vientiane.
