We had an amazing 3-day stay at Amari Vogue Krabi. The resort has a charming, elegant design and is managed by a highly experienced and attentive staff. The private beach is absolutely beautiful and adds to the serene atmosphere. While the property does have quite a few steps and is located a little away from the hustle and bustle of Krabi town, it wasn’t much of an inconvenience since Grab taxis were easily available. Overall, a wonderful and memorable stay.
This hotel is beautiful, but be aware that it's in an isolated area; far from all activities. The nearest 7-11 is 15 minutes away via Grab, about $3 (we used the ATM there). As with other 5-star hotels, expect prices to be as much as U.S. prices (e.g., massage); but, it was a good experience - very relaxing. My husband & I are active senior citizens; we love to exercise & travel (ages 66 & 70). We still felt the walking areas have too many steps - going to your room you have to take one big step up, going to your bathroom, another step. We have 3 grandchildren (not traveling with us this time), so I know I would not recommend this hotel for families with young children. There are many high-risk areas that they would trip & fall..especially if you are using any kind of stroller, or for the elderly, a walker or wheel chair. Perhaps the hotel should consider handrails for all areas going down the hill. Further, the tip of the steps should be painted with some bright color that is visible for the person walking to see. I agree with the other travelers' reviews though that the hotel is beautiful with nice amenities.
I recently stayed at Amari Vogue Krabi with my wife and our 2-year-old toddler. The resort itself is beautiful and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. However, it’s important to note that the property is not stroller-friendly—there are a lot of stairs and no ramps, which made moving around quite difficult with a young child. Another downside was the lack of basic hospitality. When we wanted to eat something we brought to the room and requested cutlery and plates, we were surprised to find they charged extra just for that. It felt a bit unreasonable for a resort of this level. The breakfast also lacked variety and could be improved. Overall, it's a scenic resort but not the most convenient or welcoming for families with small children.
