Amaronda Resort & Spa

We stayed at Amaronda with kids and had a truly fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the check-in was smooth, the staff warm and welcoming, and we even received a free upgrade from a family room to a spacious bungalow with partial sea view. The food is excellent — diverse, high quality, and never boring, even after a full week. Drinks are self-service (beer, wine, sodas, juice), and bars are included until 19:00 at beach bar and 23:00 in main building. The only odd thing is the small drink glasses and that bottled water in the room after the first day costs extra, even though water dispensers are freely available throughout the hotel. The atmosphere is always calm and family-friendly. There are plenty of sunbeds (even double and anatomical ones), and everything is kept clean and tidy. Animation is fun, though mostly in French, which might be a downside for non-French-speaking guests. Kids club is only in French and Greek. What stood out most was the staff culture — respectful, kind, and truly making you feel at home. You can sense they are treated well by management, and many act like hosts of their area, not just employees. It creates a warm, personal feeling throughout the stay. A few minor details (towel change only after 5 days, small glasses, paid water) are easily overlooked considering the overall experience. This place fully deserves a 10 out of 10 and our highest recommendation.

Nice, pleasant hotel for rest with your loved ones or alone. Very nice, warm and welcoming employees who do everything in their power for you to enjoy your stay at the hotel. The food was very tasty, I enjoyed every meal I ate there. The room looks a little old but they are clean, room service is taking care of it every day which is not a standard everywhere. Wonderful experience for a two day trip! The staff were friendly and the food was delicious with many options to choose from. The rooms were sparkling clean & the view from our balcony was mesmerising! Especially at night where the pool was sparkling with hidden lights below! It's a very relaxing hotel with lots of accomodations. I'd love to stay there again soon! 🎀✨
