Amarta Hills Hotel And Resort

No chance to try their gym and playground, but loved the infinity pool as we swim into the dark hours. Situated on the hills, we love the view minus the smoke which we could smell in the air! Breakfast was not rushing unlike some hotels, we could comfortably eat till 11am though it’s supposed to close around 1030am. With young kids, everything gets delayed and messy especially at meal times, but the staff were patient and smiley, therefore this hotel is highly recommended for the price point! Easy to grab around including grab food, don’t miss the Angkut museum car thrills rides performance and the 4pm dance parade!

Such a beautiful hotel facing the mountain but sadly, poor maintenance and under-staff was the 1st impression that hits us when we arrive at the hotel. Our first room(on the 1st floor(smells mouldy and mushy, plus the noise from the carpark, we requested to have it change. The next room on the 2nd floor was slightly better. Rooms aircondition, toilet exhaust and mini-fridge Fans, rattles so loud and deafening that makes it impossible to sleep unless you switch all of them OFF. Poor design of the rooms(especially those at the 1st storey) due to the driveway and carpark directly below. Vehicles, motorbikes and people's talking noise can be heard in the room due to poor sound-proofing. Buffet breakfast spread is pretty good, but just gotto low your expectations on the quality.

Location is far and secluded. Should be nice, only problem is, room service is almost nonexistent with mediocre menu. Housekeeping is only in name. We go 3 days without anybody asking if we want our room cleaned. We did ask. No one come. Check in took 3 hours with drama. Jacuzzi leaked. Room was dirty. They make it look clean, but if you know where to look, its dirty. Definitely not a good experience. my first time here but 10/10 will not come back a 2nd time.
