I stayed at this hotel for 4 days and 3 nights, and it’s in a great location, just a 5-minute walk from Patong Beach. The room I was given didn’t have a window, but since I was out sightseeing during the day, it didn’t bother me at all. Looking back, the lack of a window actually made the room quieter at night, which might have been a good thing. The room was clean, and there were plenty of outlets, so I had no trouble charging my devices and power banks. I also appreciated having a desk where I could set up my laptop. It’s a hotel I would definitely consider staying at again.
Had a very enjoyable 16 day stay with Amata! The kids club was a blast for my 9,5 and 4 year old The service was beautiful and friendly staff. The buffet breakfast was also very nice with fresh noodles cooked on the spot everyday. I would say a good variety. The room was very spacious and comfortable The pool also had 0.4 and 0.6 which was a HIT for those traveling with kids. It is quite big and can be watched over so i was quite relaxed while my kids played. Would love to visit again 💯
One of the Worst Hotel Experiences – Extremely Disappointed! This was one of the worst hotel services I’ve ever encountered. I had booked this hotel through Booking.com and the full payment was already charged to my credit card. I even emailed the hotel in advance informing them that my family would be checking in and that they were not carrying any cash, as the payment had already been made. Shockingly, upon arrival, the hotel refused to check them in, demanding to see the original credit card even though the payment was already settled. According to them, their policy doesn’t allow booking a room for family or friends, which is completely absurd and was never communicated earlier. My family had to struggle and somehow manage cash on the spot just to be allowed to check in. Their entire holiday was ruined by this unprofessional and insensitive behavior. I have booked hotels many times before using my credit card for family and friends and never faced such an issue. I strongly advise others to think twice before booking this hotel—poor customer service, zero flexibility, and a complete lack of basic hospitality.
