Amatara Welleisure Resort

What a first class resort in one of the most beautiful locations I've ever seen. We had a private pool villa which was absolutely beautiful. Our fairly large, private infinity pool overlooked the bay. The room was very comfortable. The service was beyond excellent. Everyone greets you with a warm smile & goes way beyond to accommodate your every need. I hated to have to leave paradise but plan to return again to the Amatara.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Amatara Resort. The property is beautifully maintained, with stunning views from both the rooms and the common areas. Everywhere you look, there are breathtaking viewpoints and thoughtfully designed spaces that make you feel instantly relaxed. One of the highlights was exploring the many restaurants on the property. Each one offers something unique, but Senses Restaurant stood out for its excellent vegetarian options. The food was fresh, flavourful, and presented with care. I’d also like to give special credit to Nin, Oil, and Pa from Senses Restaurant. Their warm service and attention to detail made every meal feel extra special.

Amatara put together a wonderful retreat program with a comprehensive mix of aqua, yoga a mindfulness classes. The restaurant food was delicious, healthy and menus offered a wonderful variety of western and Thai meals. What really made this retreat special was the staff. The trainers, Doctor, massage therapists, reception staff and restaurant teams were just amazing! The only reason I didn’t rate Amatara as a full 5 stars is that the buildings and overall property is starting to show signs of wear and tear - however the gardens, paths and pools are cleaned daily and the rooms were spotless.
