We had an amazing stay at Amaya Hills Hotel in Kandy! The views from the property are absolutely stunning, and the atmosphere is so peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. A special shoutout to Kevin, who provided outstanding service throughout our stay. He was incredibly helpful, friendly, and always made sure we were comfortable. His attention to detail and warm hospitality really made a difference. Highly recommend this hotel if you're visiting Kandy. We'll definitely be back!

Amaya Hills is a true gem nestled in the hills above Kandy. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a refreshing welcome drink. The view from the hotel is absolutely breathtaking you can see the lush green hills and misty mountains stretching for miles. The peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect getaway from the busy city below. We spent hours just relaxing on our balcony, soaking in the scenery. It’s hard to find a place that combines comfort, culture, and nature so beautifully. thank you tharani for exceptional service

Amaya Hills is truly a beautiful resort, the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed by stunning views and a serene atmosphere that immediately sets the tone for a relaxing stay. The location is undoubtedly one of its strongest features. The pool area is lovely and well-maintained, and having table tennis nearby was a fun addition. However, the dining experience fell short of expectations. The food was not particularly memorable, and my mother’s simple request for a boiled egg at breakfast could not be accommodated, though it’s worth noting that the lady assisting us was kind. The wait staff, in general, would benefit from further training in attentiveness, especially regarding clearing plates promptly, offering drinks, refilling water and engaging more proactively with guests. On a positive note, the porters were excellent, very helpful and courteous. The shuttle bus drivers deserve special mention for their skill and friendliness, making transfers smooth and pleasant. The gardeners, too, were very welcoming and proudly shared details about their beautifully kept grounds. A practical tip for future guests: be sure to bring insect repellent, as mosquitoes are quite prevalent. Overall, a beautiful setting with warm hospitality in parts, but some improvements in service would elevate the experience even further.
