Amazing Grace Zen mountain retreat with lake views

This place breaks the Big Bear “cabin” aesthetic in the best way. Big city swanky while maintaining a cozy mountain vibe. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed, and the bar/lounge, The Flatlander, is awesome. Great atmosphere and proper cocktails, complete with stage and huge dance floor if you’re looking to book an event. There’s also a big outdoor area with a large deck, cold plunge and sauna. Rates are very reasonable and the staff is great! This is “the” place to stay in Big Bear.

We recently attended a wedding at this retreat. From the moment we went inside the lodge, we thought it was so eclectic and cool. We stayed in the motel part and our room was beautiful. The staff that worked with us all weekend were great! They were very attentive and kind. It's a very unique and beautiful retreat. We recommend this place, and we we'll definitely be back.

This was our second time staying here but first time in winter and it was so great! We love the whole vibe of the place! We came back because we had a good experience before in the summer and then we were taking our daughter skiing for the first time. There’s a rental place right next door and then Snow Summit is so close, it was all so easy. Also, they had a great hill in the open space in the back for sledding and even had sleds you can use. Very family and pet friendly. Staff was so nice. The bar had great drinks too! Can’t wait to come back and highly recommend.
