Ambassador Hotel Milwaukee Trademark Collection by Wyndham

We had an amazing stay at the Ambassador! The staff was fantastic,so welcoming and helpful. We really appreciated the shuttle service, and the attached restaurant and bar were excellent (highly recommend the cheese curds!). The rooms were clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable the beds were so cozy. I fell in love with the hotel’s vintage, slightly spooky vibes and its fascinating history. The surrounding area is a bit rough, but it didn’t affect our stay at all. Parking in the garage was worth the $10/day if you prepay (otherwise it’s $20 same-day). Overall, a wonderful experience. I’d highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again!

Excellent stay at an exquisite rendition of a Roaring 20s Art Deco hotel--preserved as to show life as it may have been, equipped with a staff with such quality it makes it seem so! I found the lobby to be fantastic (including the bar, coffee shop, and restaurant), the fitness center to be a pleasant surprise, and the room to be very nice and comfortable,--well-updated--even if certain fittings (flooring) were not the newest. Art, the bell hop and nighttime security guard in particular, is cordial, professional, and takes pride in his job, which felt "vintage" in itself. Ditto for the shuttle driver (not sure his name). Despite the neighborhood not being the best (or worst), I would undoubtedly come back, enjoying the refreshing and unanticipated, step back into time.

Hotel lobby is charming. Love that they kept the original Art Deco sconces and crown modeling. The STAFF IS GREAT, Gin Ricky’s bartender was awesome, food is also very good. The problem was the ROOM. We were here on a holiday and until I spent a little more time in the room, did I realize how disgusting it actually was. Blood stains on the floor, blood stains on the bed, pee stain on the bed?, (I didn’t notice this until we were checking out🤮) eye lasses stuck on the mirror. Completely disgusting. It’s too bad because the staff is amazing here. Probably wouldn’t come back due to the room being so insanely gross. Update: would not refund our incidental fee. Moving a large chair blocking a full length mirror revealed stains that were put on us. I don’t wear eyelashes and I had no injuries that would cause blood stains on an already very dirty carpet. Will not stay here again. Sad story for this once beautiful hotel
