Ambassador Row Hotel Suites by Lanson Place Kuala Lumpur

The hotel location is spot on to go to other places. Easy to access to shops and restaurants. Staff are friendly. The apartments are spacious. Slightly outdated and requires attention, otherwise great. The breakfast is decent. Does the job. Has decent varieties of food option. Security is great, which is a big thing when travelling with kids. I Would definitely recommend and I will stay again. Swimming pools at a standard sizes. Amazing views of the city from the rooms. The bedroom television is poor, but the living room television works well.

The room was quite spacious, we stayed in the 2 bedrooms apartment with a guest bedroom (so we got an extra whole room with a sofa bed), it even had its own laundry room. What I love the most from this place (we're staying there in April 2025) was their service, especially from 2 of their staff, the cleaning service staff (I think his name is Hanif) went above and beyond to tend to our needs, it's the same with the room service staff (I can't remember his name it starts with a Z, Zahirnga or something else, he's very attentive). The security guys were also lovely. Overall it was a lovely experience. Would definitely stay here again.

4/5 – Great Location & Spacious Rooms, But Service Could Improve We stayed at Parkroyal Serviced Suites in Kuala Lumpur and loved the location—super central and convenient. The room was extremely spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen, good utensils, a working fridge, excellent air conditioning, and a beautiful pool area that includes a jacuzzi. For the price, the space and amenities were a huge plus. That said, if you’re looking for a luxury experience, this might not be it. The lobby and reception area feel quite basic, and that sets the tone when you first walk in. However, the reception staff were polite and even allowed us to check in a bit early, which we appreciated. A big downside was the breakfast. It’s quite expensive and just not worth it. While they do try to cater to Indian guests (which we noticed), the food was average at best. There were plenty of options, but most of them didn’t taste great. The staff at breakfast seemed overworked and inattentive—we had condiments taken from our table just as we were about to sit, and later they told us we had only 5 minutes left to eat. It wasn’t a pleasant or relaxing experience, especially on vacation. Overall, it’s a great place if you’re after a spacious, comfortable stay in a fantastic location, but I’d recommend skipping the breakfast add-on. Also, a little more warmth and attentiveness from the breakfast staff could really elevate the experience.
