I would like to highly recommend the intimate Istanbul Amber Hotel. Beautiful interiors, very clean, friendly and attentive staff, professional service. Delicious breakfasts. Special and warm thanks to Murat and Devrim for their daily smile, nice conversations and friendliness. I wish the staff all the best. See you next time! Aleksandra from Poland
Very tiny rooms not like photos The location is down a hill tale care if u have luggages The view is good overlooking the sea Good breakfast
Very disappointing stay – Would NOT recommend We booked Amber Hotel for our family of three, but unfortunately, it was not a good experience at all. Room & Cleanliness: ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5) • The first room we were given was a duplex with three single beds, two upstairs and one downstairs with a tiny washroom. The stairs were very steep, making it completely unsafe and impractical for a family with a child. • We requested a different room and were moved to a ground-floor room near reception. While it had a queen bed, it was still extremely small—no space to open luggage, and the bathroom was tiny. • Serious hygiene issues: The shower leaked all over the floor, and we had to use multiple towels to contain the mess. • Shower safety hazard: The showerhead was not secure—when my son turned off the water, it fell on his head due to the pressure drop. This is a major safety concern. • The locker didn’t work, and the room was dusty—even the headboard had visible dust. Overall, the cleanliness was very poor. Breakfast: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5) • The breakfast spread was decent, with a full Turkish breakfast including jams, honey, nuts, apricots, yogurt, parfaits, cereals, milk, bread, cheese, and olives. • However, fresh orange juice was NOT included—they charged extra for it, which was disappointing, considering breakfast was supposed to be included. Overall Experience: ✔ Affordable price, but you can find much better hotels for the same price in Istanbul. ❌ Rooms are too small and not functional. ❌ Hygiene and maintenance are poor. ❌ Shower safety issue – potential hazard. ❌ Locker was broken. ❌ Not worth staying here, even for the price. I would NOT recommend staying at this hotel and would not return. There are better options available for the same cost, with cleaner rooms and better service.
