Can’t fault this place. Worth the extra $$ for the friendly service and excellent location (walking distance to Faloria gondola and the shuttle bus to other lifts). The hotel design features and artworks are delightful, the rooms stylish and comfortable, with plenty of extra treats like fruit and chocolates in the room. There is a lot of construction going on in Cortina in preparation for the Winter Olympics - but it did not spoil our visit. Thank you to the Ambra team for making our stay so pleasurable. 🙂
The only thing we can say that wasn't five stars was that the room was kind of small but it was clean and functional. the hotel is within walking distance of a nice piazza with lots of shops and restaurants and great views. The staff were so nice, they brought umbrellas out as we unloaded our car as it was raining. Breakfast was nice, the basics are set out and they will make cappuccinos and an omelette for you but you have to be able to order your omelette in Italian as the front desk staff speaks Italian or English but the kitchen staff only Italian.
300euro no airconditioning. Biggest rip off ever avoid. Doesn't have a shower either. Only bathtub. What kind of 4 star hotel is this.
