Ambra Hotel

Very nice place to stay! The location is absolutely fantastic and the rooms were clean. You can start a city tour from the hotel and see the Opera within a 5 minute walk. Breakfast was delicious and there was great variety. Would 100% recommend this place for everyone who comes to Budapest!

Decent hotel in a good location near food and shopping. The room was a good size, but the bedding had a lot of hair on it and the carpets were very dirty. The bed was so hard that it was actually painful when you got up in the morning from the bed being so stiff. The bathroom had a nice shower and the water was hot. The toilet paper was very cheap and they gave us a full roll and an almost empty roll on the dispenser. We had a booking for 3 people/3 nights so that single ply TP didn’t last very long. They give you earplugs in your room, and you definitely notice why. It was so loud all night long — constant banging and stomping from floors above and adjacent walls. Not soundproof whatsoever. If you’re planning on bringing a car, it needs to be a micro car that does not weigh a lot. They only have 4 parking spaces for the hotel and it’s absolutely insane that they charge 39€ a day to park! The free breakfast was nice and they had a decent selection of foods. I love that they let you get coffee and tea anytime of the day and you can enjoy it on their front patio or in the lobby.

Breakfast was so so Poor kind of sausage No fresh juice Small pieces of Camembert Small pieces of Bacon Cereal very Little Few kind of fruits This breakfast does NOT fit a 4 stars hotel. Maybe a 2 stars hotel For breakfast I give 2 stars ONLY Room is ok Service is ok Location is good. Total= I give this hotel 3 stars. August 4th 2025
