A great, affordable hotel in an excellent location for sightseeing in Athens. The friendly and helpful staff ensure cleanliness, and the breakfasts are excellent. The hotel has a nice atmosphere. It is conveniently located near a metro station and tourist bus stops. Despite the area's folkloric character, it is completely safe, with visible police patrols - when this ‘folklore’ disrupts the nighttime quiet, cleaning services can be seen working on the adjacent streets.

The hotel is at a very convenient location, at the city centre. Everything is close by, for example the Acropolis is approx 30 min walk, with everything else in between. The metro is approx 3 min walk for a connection to other parts of the city. The room is spacious, and clean. Good for two people. Fridge is available for storing cold stuff. There is a balcony but there isn't a good view anyways. However, I can't find the heating for the room, so it might get cold in winter night. The toilet is clean with shower facilities. They provide breakfast for €5 per person, continental breakfast buffet, decent spread of food. The surrounding area is filled with graffiti so it feels dangerous to walk outside at night though. But good food from breakfast to dinner outside.

Unsafe Area – Not Suitable for Tourists The hotel itself is decent, but its location is extremely unsafe and deeply disturbing. It is situated right in the heart of what can only be described as a ghetto. Stepping outside the hotel feels dangerous – the streets are filled with drug users, prostitutes, and aggressive individuals. I did not feel safe walking even a few meters, especially after sunset. No one should book here without understanding the reality of the area. This is not a normal urban neighborhood – it is a zone of open drug use and social decay. I strongly advise travelers, especially solo tourists or families, to stay elsewhere – no matter how attractive the price may seem. The location ruins any positive aspect of the hotel.
