The rooms are clean, but the behavior and style of the service staff at breakfast is very unpleasant. We went down for breakfast at 8:30, the employee asked for our breakfast ticket, which they did not give to us or anyone else at check-in. Because of this, he spoke to everyone in a condescending and hostile manner. Everything was empty. The bread, eggs, salami, vegetables and everything ran out at once. There were no glasses anywhere, only plastic cups. The soft drinks ran out too. The service staff seemed not to care at all. If we had not said anything, they would not have refilled it. Several
One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at. It’s a 4-star hotel, so I wasn’t expecting a luxury experience, but the complete lack of basic services was honestly unacceptable. The location is okay close to the metro station and about a 5-minute walk to a supermarket. But as for the hotel itself… The corridors between rooms were hot and humid, with no AC or air circulation at all. The rooms are air-conditioned, but they’re missing even the most basic essentials. They didn’t clean our room after the first day or even change the towels. When we called reception, they told one person that our booking doesn’t include cleaning (??), and told someone else that cleaning is done every two days. They’re clearly not being honest and completely inconsistent. • No clothes iron in the room. When I asked for one, they told me to go down to reception to get it myself. Seriously? How is someone supposed to walk through the hotel in wrinkled clothes? • I literally saw a bug walking around in the room. That alone says a lot about the hygiene. • Breakfast was minimal. Tiny variety and missing essentials, but just about tolerable. • No spa or fitness facilities available at all.
We stayed at Almedia Hotel in Milan and were deeply disappointed. The breakfast was by far the worst part: €15 per person for tasteless, rubbery eggs, old and dry croissants, and bizarre dirty bowls containing rice from who knows when. When we arrived at breakfast, most of the bowls were empty anyway — hardly worth the price. To make matters worse, there was an annoying light under the bedside table that shone directly into the room all night, making it impossible to sleep properly. Overall, it felt like no care was taken to provide even a basic level of comfort or quality. Absolutely would not recommend this place to anyone.
