Last time I was there it was a nice hotel but the pool area needed help. But what I am writing about is the casino points and offers. I keep getting offers for 3 nights free stay any time. Well I am a teacher and limited to when I can travel so I tried 3 times in total to reserve a room and all three that told me there was no comp rooms available. But if I really wanted to go I could pay a reduced rate. The last time was for July 31 to August 2 and they wanted $699 for the three nights. On travel sites I could book the same room for less. So why offer to comp a room if it’s never available and then how can you want to change more then hotel sites for the same room.
The hotel is lackluster to say the least. If you plan on sleeping next to someone, hope they don’t move. If they do, so will you and you’ll be up all night. The pillows are a sad excuse for a head rest. They are stuffed but expand laterally over time getting flatter and flatter. Our toilet didn’t work, so we told the staff. They did get it fixed, but maintenance used all our towels and left them on the floor soaking wet and didn’t bring replacements. So, at 11 pm we had to call down for more. The soap dispenser for the shower was broken so we had no body wash. THERE IS NO CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. This was advertised and a selling point, so that was frustrating. The hand towel holder was falling out of the wall. The ice machine was broken on our floor and we were not told until we tried to use it. The hotel is not connected to the casino, there is a steep walk. This is definitely not suited for disabled individuals. You will need to drive across the street and down the hill. The people who worked there were very nice. The literal only saving grace of this place. Would not recommend.
If I could give this casino zero stars I would. Workers walk past new customers sitting at the bar and disappear leaving them without a drink and good customer service experience. I’m not sure if this casino is short staffed or what, but if that’s the case you’d think management would be working harder to ensure customer satisfaction. Don’t waste your fun or money here. Go to the smaller casinos where they actually acknowledge you and actually pay you.
