The stay was quite nice. I was there for 10+ days on a business visit. It is easy to get to the hotel and many places within walking distance, including public transport. What bummed me were the extra charges for parking and breakfast. Had I known I would have to pay for breakfast, I'd have stayed at a Hilton where I get free breakfast and preferred parking with diamond status. Otherwise, the hotel staff were very nice and welcoming. Would recommend the hotel if paid parking and breakfast are not a concern for you.
When we were going to get to the hotel from the garage we rang the bell for the reception to let us in, then we were told that we should use our room card (not in a kind way). It is difficult to use a room card when we have not checked in yet. The room itself was okay, nothing personal and good for staying overnight. However, the bathroom floor was not clean. We called to see if we could get a baby cot, then the same receptionist said that the baby cot was out of stock. When we got to the room, there was a bed. I want to point out that the guy who checked us out was much more accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was also okay, but if you need gluten free options it is not good. There was some dry bread which was inedible. I asked the chef for bread and was shown the dry bread. When my husband asked the same person he was given buns which the chef brought to our table.
Poor experience with this hotel now going legal and reporting to my credit company. I booked a room and upon check-out paid in full by card. They have now charged my card again as someone else with the same surname didn’t pay for their room (according to the hotel). I sent proof that I have paid for my room however this hotel is asking me to contact of the person despite me settling my balance in full. Completely unprofessional front desk staff and no engagement from management on this matter.
