I recently had the pleasure of staying at your esteemed hotel for 3D2N, and I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional experience provided. Firstly, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the room — it was immaculately clean, thoughtfully maintained, and extremely comfortable. Walking to the room there is a smell of aromatherapy that filled the air. It is evident that great care is taken to ensure guest comfort and hygiene, which I truly valued throughout my stay. In addition, I would like to extend my highest commendation to two outstanding members of your staff: Tuan Muhammad Azam Jais and Tuan Sarnizam. Both individuals went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was not only smooth but memorable. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and warm hospitality exemplify the highest standards of customer service. It was clear that they are passionate about their work and dedicated to creating a positive guest experience. Please convey my heartfelt thanks to them, and I hope their exemplary efforts are duly recognized. I look forward to returning to Ames Hotel in the future and will certainly recommend your property to others seeking comfort and exceptional service in Melaka.
Everything was perfect, the rooms and service are top tier. We arrived late without any booking and staff listened to our concerns and provided a solution for our room arrangements. Rooms are clean. The breakfast buffet is good with plenty of options. Ample seating. Many pastry choices.
This hotel is advertised as a 5-star, but based on my stay, I’d say it’s more like a 3-star experience. The location is definitely a big plus—super convenient and close to popular tourist spots, so you don’t have to deal with heavy traffic to get around. The staff were really friendly and had a great attitude, which I appreciated. But honestly, the overall management and supervision could use some improvement. The rooms are quite worn out and could really use a makeover. Some of the wallpaper was peeling off and there was visible mold in certain areas. Also, when I opened the curtains, a lot of dust started floating around, which was not great. The breakfast buffet was just okay—nothing special, more like what you’d expect from a 2- or 3-star hotel. On the bright side, the multi-level parking is quite secure with good lighting and plenty of CCTV cameras. All in all, it has potential and some nice touches, but it doesn’t live up to the 5-star rating it claims to have not even 4-star.
