First impression: nice hotel, room was decent however definitely not worth $1300 (aud) for 7 nights given the room is tiny, the bathroom does not have an exhaust so whenever you take a shower you will choke on vapour. Staff were a 50/50. I came to turkey for a cosmetic procedure and as such for my recovery I required Ice atleast 2-3x a day, and they had the nerve to tell me there’s a limit? I asked if they could keep my icepack in their freezer and they would decline, then accept (not sure if it’s because I tipped them). Not only that, but whenever we ordered food they told me to go all the way downstairs (while bleeding from my nose) to pick it up, keep in mind I would usually tip them if they brought it up or did something for me. Housekeeping lady was lovely though. Location wise- its a nice 10-15 min walk to the main attractions in sultanahmet.
I want to comment only for Hammam. Walking around in Istanbul I saw the hotel and out of hotel two people’s who was reclaiming for hammam. At the end i decided to try and i was disappointed because organization is 0. No separate rooms between men and women. The massage bed was smelling, personal who is specialize for massage was not specialized. Summer time inside sauna was 90 degrees. Unfortunately money drown the drain 😩
