Ammersee hotel My judgment only based on what I saw when passing by. The hotel not really big. Their room had balcony facing the lake. Ground floor is restaurant and full of people which facing the lake as well. Beautiful view. In front of hotel a path for people to walk and there are people picnic at lake side. There are many boats parking outdoor and also have houseboat. The lake extremely big. I didn’t finish the walk. This hotel has many things to offer for those who went there for holiday. Surrounded with many restaurants and beautiful view.

Beautiful location with friendly staff receiving us upon arrival. We reserved a table but we’re not able to dine there due to personnel issues, can happen. It was pretty easy to find another place around the lake, but don’t forget to reserve first. Back in the room we had some awful smell receiving us from the drain. The friendly lady came from the reception and did her best to fix it. Thanks for that but it didn’t really help. Apart from the great breakfast. At the end of the day, 3*** since this was a +200€ booking for one night only in a pretty standard room. I’ve seen better rooms for under 100€ so, up to you, what you prefer. It was perfect on our way to Munich so thanks to the hotel for receiving us well, but again, guess to pricey and value for money was not there - not a 100% at least from my point of view.
