Amora NeoLuxe Suites Hotel

The hotel is a modest one, somewhat old but in good condition. The room is spacious, with air conditioning, and the bathroom is also large. The best feature is undoubtedly its location in the heart of Sukhumvit. It is very well connected to other areas either by BTS (a 5-minute walk from Phrom Phong station) or by Metro, about a 15-minute walk from the hotel. The breakfast is complete, the pool is a bit old but in good condition, and everything comes at a very good price.

Great location, value for money, very good service. Close to all malls, public transportation stations and restaurants. The rooms are clean & simple but if you are not looking for fancy style, these will do.

More for undemanding guests. The hotel is obviously getting on in years and I had the impression that nobody cares about maintenance anymore. When I moved into the room (203) it smelled musty, so I had the impression that it had been empty for some time. The mattress was sagging, the air conditioning just made it to a measured 24 degrees after hours at the lowest set temperature, so that a good night's sleep was out of the question. There was no hot water or wifi during the entire stay of 5 days. The water is logically not ice cold due to the tropical climate, but it would have been nice to be able to take a really warm shower, especially as the hotel classifies itself as a 4 star hotel. Repeated complaints to the unfriendly staff - once by email to the manager - had no effect. The cleanliness also left a lot to be desired. Dirt on the floor, which was already there when I moved into the room, was still there when I left. The shelves and the bathroom were also only cleaned superficially. The location is the only positive feature of this hotel for me. My photos give an impression of the conditions.
