Amphora Hotel

During the summer holidays of 2025, I stayed at this hotel for a week. Many reviews mention construction work around the hotel, but there's hardly any visible or audible noise. The pavilion they've built in front of the hotel is very cozy. The hotel itself is neat and clean, and the staff is very friendly. There's a wide selection at breakfast and plenty of seating, both indoors and outdoors. At the pools, you can shower and relax on sunbeds, both indoors and outdoors. There's also a rooftop bar where you can enjoy an evening drink with comfortable sofas and chairs. The pools are open from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and the rooftop bar from 8:00 PM to midnight. The room itself was perfect and clean. It even had a mini-fridge, nice lighting, and air conditioning. You could have the room cleaned once a day, which was, of course, done properly. The only minor drawback is the lack of light from the light switches and the air conditioning control panel. After two days, an SOS message started flashing on the panel, but it didn't go off. After telling reception twice that an SOS signal was flashing with the answer, "We'll send someone," no one actually came to fix it. All in all, this hotel is definitely worth 5 stars. And I would definitely recommend it.

I had a read a few negative reviews of this hotel regarding unfriendly service and facilities not available so was a little apprehensive when we arrived. However, we were extremely impressed with the standard of this hotel and was thoroughly satisfied with our stay. The rooms were a good size and were clean with nice views. The pool areas were lovely and the spa was amazing! The breakfast spread was fantastic, the choice changed every day and the quality of the food was very good. The few negatives were that we had to ask for a maid service to clean the rooms as they hadn't come after 2 days. Also we were not told that the roof top bar and pool was under construction so that was a disappointment when we arrived. However, to compensate for this they were offering free parking while we were there which saved us a lot of money so that was fine for us! The construction outside the property is also off putting but as we were out sightseeing most days it didn't bother us. You definitely need a car with where this hotel is. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay here and would be happy to return.

This was an extremely disappointing stay for our first couple nights in Croatia. The room was very bad. The door would not open properly, the vanity/bench in the bathroom was broken and taped up with duct tape. The shower had mould on the shower head and on the floor. You could not turn the tap on in the bathroom even half way without it going all over the place. Pictures attached. However the location is amazing right across from a great beach. I would visit the beach again for sure but maybe not this hotel. Had better from 50 euro hostels.
