Excellent location for an Amsterdam vacation! Safe and in the heart of the city. Easy to walk to a myriad of options for food, drinks or shopping. The staff is friendly and they go above and beyond - and the hotel breakfast in top notch! Would highly recommend.

The location is very hard to beat, and the look of the hotel inside is great. While the M Club was lacking in more vegan options with protein, I was grateful for the plant-based yogurt for breakfast. The staff is very helpful and responds quickly to messages in the app. There are many food options for vegans within walking distance. The Rijksmuseum is also a short walk away. Highly recommend!!

The staff at the Amsterdam Marriott were great. Everyone from the front desk to the bar and concierge were friendly, helpful, and professional. No complaints at all on that front. The room itself was clean and well-maintained. It was nice to have a US-friendly outlet and USB ports by the bed, and the ability to turn off all the lights from a switch next to the bed was a thoughtful touch. The room safe didn’t work, but there was a fridge, which was convenient. The walls seemed quite thin. We could hear doors opening and closing nearby, and let’s just say we heard more than we wanted to from the room next to us, but it sounded like they were enjoying themselves! However, a few things made our stay uncomfortable. The floors are tile with a rug only under the bed, and even with the thermostat adjusted, they were always cold. I ended up using a heating pad just to keep my feet warm, even with socks or slippers, and this was in late May and early June. Our room faced a narrow street with a building directly across from it, so there was very little natural light. With the lights on, it was fine, but without them the room felt dim and closed in. The hallways were also quite dark, lit only when you walked by a motion sensor. I understand that’s for energy savings, but it gave the space a slightly eerie feel. Walking into a dark hallway and then into a cold room didn’t make for a relaxing experience. We found ourselves wanting to spend as little time there as possible. In short, the service was great, but the room undermined the overall experience.
