The head cook is very Mean...mean to everyone. Mean to his workers. Frowns. Ruins my breakfast...Doesnt understand that customers pay his salary and frowns at them with hate. Everyone else is very nice.

Listen to all the other reviews. This place is so dirty I’m scared to sit on the bed and use the bathroom. There is a terrible smell coming from The bathroom as well. I don’t know how it’s priced at 300$ a night. This is insane. Avoid this place at all cost. I don’t know how they are a 4star hotel. This is like a low class motel.

This was my first visit to Rio de Janeiro, and staying at this hotel could have easily ruined the experience if it weren't for the city of Rio being perfect. Where do I even begin? Broken Elevators: The elevators were a nightmare. I waited 20-30 minutes every time I needed to use them. Dirty Pool: The pool was filthy and unfit for use—I wouldn’t even consider going in. Gym Facilities: The gym was a disaster. Most of the machines were broken and unusable. Dirty Room: My room was dirty, had obvious missing furniture, and felt completely neglected. Terrible Internet: The Wi-Fi was practically useless, making it impossible to work or relax with any streaming. Hot Water Issues: There was only boiling hot water from both the sink and shower, making it uncomfortable and unsafe. Cleanliness Standards: I requested clean sheets, but the bed was remade with the same ripped sheets. This hotel is beyond unacceptable, and I genuinely don’t understand how it’s still operating. I wouldn’t stay here again, and I would strongly advise others to avoid it at all costs.
