My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in celebration of our 30th year anniversary and it was sheer perfection! Our butler Thom was a true gem that took great care of us during our stay. The breakfast is excellent with many options and different varieties daily. Dinner was so beautiful everynight at the restaurant overlooking the beach at sunset. The resort is small enough to feel safe walking everywhere on foot but had enough grounds that we got a very very good workout during our hiking self expedition. There are soooo many pleasant discoveries around every nook and cranny of the island. On our hike, discovered a beautiful flowing downhill stream atop beautiful boulders. It wasn't until we reached the top that we turned around and withnessed a most serene beautiful view among the treetops. The resort is very quiet, ideal for couples/families that want privacy, peace, and respice. There were other excursions offered to us as well, however, we simply took the time well spent laying on the beach, walking the beachfront, and just enjoying eachother's company. If you are looking for a place to rest and rejuvenate, this is the place. The photos and videos thaken at this resort our my favorites ever. All we had to do was point and click and it all turned out amazing!!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½ (4.5/5) I had a lovely stay at this unique resort tucked away in a quiet bay. To get there, you’ll need to take a short canoe ride, which adds a nice sense of escape and adventure right from the start. The resort offers plenty of activities—though naturally, being in the bay, it’s not quite the same as being on the mainland, and there’s no sandy beach. Still, it has its own charm. I stayed in a treetop villa, which was beautifully secluded and offered stunning views and complete privacy—something I really appreciated. Being so close to nature, I did encounter a few unexpected visitors like birds, squirrels, mosquitoes, and even a cockroach or two. That said, I want to emphasize that the villa was spotlessly clean—it’s just part of the experience of being surrounded by the natural environment. A special shout-out to our butler, Quyen, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay—she really made a difference in our overall experience. All in all, everything was well taken care of, and while it’s not a perfect 5 stars for my personal preferences, I truly enjoyed my time there and would absolutely love to return someday!
The shared amenities at this resort were excellent. All of the food—including the buffet breakfast, surprisingly was amazing. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The spa was expensive for Vietnam but worth it for me. Hue did my massage and also led the free yoga and meditation sessions. She was absolutely fantastic and a real highlight of the stay. Other activities were on the pricey side, but I guess that’s expected at a 5-star resort. I can’t speak for all the villas, but ours was definitely showing signs of wear. All fittings were loose, the pool had a few green (mould?) patches and chipped tiles, and the filter stopped working briefly. The bathroom had chipped tiles and missing grout, the shower pressure was low, and hot water was inconsistent. The deck needed oiling, stair and balustrades could use some attention, and the sunbeds were a bit rusty. None of this was major, but the small issues added up and made the villa feel a little neglected. The resort didn’t seem at full capacity, so it might be worth taking certain villas offline temporarily for maintenance one by one (assuming the other were in a similar state) That said, the setting was peaceful, with beautiful views, a comfortable bed, and fresh water always available. Overall, we really enjoyed the experience.
