Stayed here for 3 weeks for yoga teacher training and loved it. It’s quietly tucked away from the craziness of Ubud town and situated on lots of rice fields. The staff was very nice to us and took very good care of our rooms every day. The yoga shalas were very beautiful as well. I liked the food a lot though by the end got a little tired of everything cooked in peanut oil. Overall a beautiful experience and would love to come back one day.

The hotel has beautiful gardens. The rooms and buildings are a little tired and could do with some love. Comfortable beds. The rice paddies provide some interesting landscapes to explore. As others have mentioned, the food is average, the staff very accommodating. Our room was over an open sewer drain which made for an overwhelming smell at times. This was addressed very quickly when the issue was raised.

The hotel staff were very helpful in every aspect and always very friendly. On my first night, there were a lot of lizards and insects in my room, so I requested a room change, and the next day my request was immediately accommodated — thank you again for that. However, on the negative side, the hotel's location is really far from everything; it’s not possible to walk to anywhere nearby. The bathroom was located downstairs, which didn’t make much sense and made the room quite impractical. After my room was changed, I stayed on the lower floor, which was better, but the sound isolation was absolutely nonexistent — I was woken up every morning around 6 AM by the footsteps and conversations of the guests upstairs. So, if you are looking for a quiet place, this is not it. The room was generally clean, and the bed sheets were fresh. However, overall, the rooms did not really match the photos. Since the hotel is located in the middle of the rice fields, insects and lizards in the room were unfortunately unavoidable. The best solution would be to put mosquito nets of each room. Since the bathroom is already open-air, no matter how careful you are, insects manage to get in. At least with nets, this could be minimized.
