Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Resort

We loved this resort, it’s so clean and beautiful. Overall, the staff is very friendly and extremely attentive. They provide lots of updates and support as needed. It’s such a great experience and the breakfast is amazing! You are walking distance to fisherman’s village which is a nice area for restaurants and shopping. This was great for us as we were able to explore outside of the resort as well. Only thing to note is that there are better beaches on the island. The beach at the resort is clean and nice but the water is not as clear as other beaches. Finally, the laundry prices are quite high and you pay per item which was not ideal for us. The room service was pretty good though and we ended up ordering in almost everyday.

Wow, where to start. Let’s start with the very few cons…. Laundry is expensive and so is the bar & restaurant (and in-room dining) but that should be expected from such a high-class hotel like this. The rooms are so well lay out. Perfectly sized and all have a good view over the main stream running down the middle of the hotel garden. Showers are big, well - pressured, hot. You will never have a problem with the staff over here, they are so kind, understanding, speak really good English and are so helpful, down from needing more toilet paper, to scheduling a new flight, they are willing to help and do it all with a smile . Location is great, just close enough to the hustle and bustle whilst being quiet at the same time, 3 minute walk to the market and is definitely my favourite ever hotel!!

We had a brilliant time at Anantara in June. Really nice rooms and staff who really looked after you. We had planned to stay here so we could experience some of the fisherman’s village market. This was close by and worth checking out. Staff were very good to us. I booked on for Thai boxing which was a great work out - I’m keen to try it out back home!
